Position SummaryMotivated CNC/Manual Machinist needed to set up and operate Multi-Axis CNC lathe (DOOSAN), PROTO TRAK Lathes, Engine Lathes, Milling Machines (PROTO TRACK), and BridgeportRegular hours are between 7:
00 am and 3:
30 pm Monday through FridayOvertime and weekend hours are available and are required as neededOpportunity for travel to serve our customers onsite.
Qualifications and Experienceo7
years' experience is strongly preferred.
oMust be able to read and understand blueprints with an understanding of geometric tolerance and dimensions (GD&T).
oMastercam programming with Proto Track control required.
oExperience using Haas & Doosan multi-axis machines preferred.
oHigh level of understanding for precision measuring instruments and the application of such instrumentsInstruments should include but not be limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators, and dial bores.
oExperienced in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (lathes, Mills, grinders etc.
)oKnowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used on various machinesShould be able to assist entry level machinists with the setup and operation of their machines.
oMust possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry required.
oKnowledge of various metal properties and machinability.
oHigh School diploma or equivalence required.
Responsibilities and DutiesoEnsure that standard procedures are followed in all aspects of work including machine setup and operation, process verification, product inspection, documentation, and material handling machine downtime.
oAbility to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
oPerform other duties as assigned.
oWilling to run multiple machines independently or in a team environment.
